Becoming a Recommended Supplier at The Black Country Living Museum. 🎉

If you grew up in the West Midlands, there’s a good chance you’ve wandered the cobbled streets of The Black Country Living Museum on a school trip, family day out, or weekend adventure. I certainly did - more times than I can count. And while the place has grown a lot since then (with new streets, shops, and stories around every corner), the heart of the museum still feels just as magical now as it did when I was a kid.

That’s why I’m absolutely buzzing to share that I’m now officially a Recommended Wedding Photographer at The Black Country Living Museum. 🖤

A Venue That Feels Like Home.

This isn’t just another venue for me - it’s part of my story. I’m a proud Black Country mon. My family has lived, worked, raised kids, and made memories here for generations. Yes, the Black Country gets its fair share of stick from outsiders, but if you know, you know just how special it really is.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the absolute joy of photographing all sorts of events at the museum — from community festivals and vintage weekends to behind-the-scenes experiences. Every time I’m there, I’m blown away by the variety of events they host and the incredible atmosphere they create. It’s a place that constantly surprises you, even if you think you know it inside out.

A Dream for Alternative Couples.

The Black Country Living Museum is not your average wedding venue — and that’s exactly what makes it amazing.

If you're an alternative couple looking for something fun, quirky, nostalgic, and unapologetically you, this place is a dream. Whether you're sipping pints in one of the old pubs, hopping on the fairground rides, or saying “I do” on a historic street surrounded by Victorian charm — there’s nowhere else quite like it.

A Peek Behind the Scenes.

I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph two lovely couples for the museum’s very first wedding brochure - and it was honestly a bit of a pinch-me moment. Getting to capture real love in such a beautifully unconventional setting was an unforgettable experience.

I can’t wait to do more of it.

So if you’re planning a Black Country wedding (at BCLM or anywhere else) and want your day documented in a way that’s fun, relaxed, and full of feeling - I’m your guy.

Let’s make something special together, and let’s do it in a place that celebrates where we’re from and everything that makes it unique.
